Selma Family lets you pool your assets with other Selma users, so everyone in the group benefits from the price tier based on your combined total assets. You can learn more about it here.

How to create a Family

You can set up your Family directly in the Pricing section of the Selma mobile app.

To create your Family:

  1. Go to the Profile tab, then tap Pricing and go to the Family section

  2. Create a Family

  3. Give it a name

  4. Invite people to join (see below)

How to invite people to my Family

There are two ways to invite someone:

  • Share your personal invitation link

  • Show them your QR code so they can scan it from their phone

Once they open the link, they simply need to accept the invitation to join your Family. 👥

If they don't have a Selma account yet, they'll need to create one first, then join.

How to join someone else's Family

If someone sent you an invitation link or QR code, just open it and confirm you want to join. If you haven't downloaded the Selma mobile app, you'll need to do that first.

Once you accept their invitation, you'll be added to their Family instantly.

🔔 You can only be part of one Family at a time. If you're already in one, you'll need to leave it before joining another.

How to rename my Family

Any member of the Family can rename it at any time. ✏️ You'll also find this option in Pricing > Family.

How to leave a Family

If you want to leave, you can do so directly from the Family tab.

Once you leave, you're free to join or create a new Family whenever you like.

No one can remove another member. Each person can only decide to leave themselves. 🚪

What information is visible within a Family?

To make the feature work, some basic information is shared among all members. This means members of your Family will have access to:

  • Your name

  • Your pricing tier

  • The total worth of the Selma Family

No other details from your account are shared. 🔒
